Role Summary:

The Program Manager will own and manage the delivery of large and complex customer solutions through the effective coordination of internal GTT Service Delivery teams and external third-party service delivery partners. They will also support and engage closely with the customer’s Program team.

The Program Manager will be the single point of contact for all deliverables within the Programs, meet required quality levels, budgets and timescales, utilizing the GTT Program Management methodology.

Job Scope/Supervision:

Report to Director, Program Management, working within the GTT’s Program Management team. The role will interact with, the following internal departments: Service Delivery Coordinator, Order Assurance, Design and Software Engineering, Sales, Sales Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Product Managers to deliver high quality products and solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing large Programs with a variety of products.

• Typically managing multiple Programs, number of assignments depends on size and complexity.

• Program ownership from Program Initiation through to Customer Operations.

• Setup and manage a virtual Program team

• Manage all communications on the Program

• Host recurring internal and external customer calls.

• Provide weekly internal and external Program Status Reports

• Produce and maintain a Program Initiation Document, including the scope of the Program and the customer critical success factors

• Monitor the Program using a tracker, MS Program, and the GTT – Ideal Program Management Methodology.

• Identify and Manage Risks, Issues, Actions and Dependencies throughout the lifecycle of the Program.

• Cost Tracking, Budget and Forecasting. Ensuring the business and customer know when to expect charges/revenues.

• Adhere to GTT’s Change Control Procedure

• Pass frequent Gate Control Checks with your manager to ensure Quality standards are being adhered to assist with GTT’s - ideal Program Methodology, suggesting and improving the fast-paced environment

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Program Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, industry experience
  • Field Of Study: Business, Organizational Management, or equivalent
  • A combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • CAPM, PMP or other related certifications desired.

Hours/Travel/Location:

  • Traditional business hours – flexibility is key
  • Position is remote
  • Minimal travel upon request
