The Role: Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will take ownership of one or more ventures within Emerge, ensuring strategic execution and operational efficiency. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills.

Candidates with backgrounds in venture capital environments, agencies, or startups will find this role particularly relevant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy & Execution:
    Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Content Creation & Management:
    Oversee the creation of compelling content, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice across digital channels.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams including creative departments, social media moderators, graphics designers, as well as external partners such as VCs, agencies, and startup stakeholders.
  • Budget Management:
    Manage social media budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Trend Analysis:
    Stay up to date with emerging trends in social media, digital marketing, and industry developments to keep our strategy innovative and competitive.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in social media management and strategy execution.
  • Must have a background working in venture capital environments, agencies, or startups.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital Social Media tools like X, Telegram and Discord...etc.
