Join our team as a Commercial Lines Analyst II – Bind Unit Representative and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in the insurance binding process. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Lines Analyst II Bind Unit Representative to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our insurance binding processes, supporting compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our Placement Specialist teams and agents. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing multi-step binding procedures with precision, contributing to operational efficiency, and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-bind checks and verify policy details to ensure accuracy in key fields such as terms and premiums before initiating the binding process.

  • Update request statuses as "Accepted" or "Rejected" with appropriate justifications. Document verbal authorizations per established guidelines.

  • Generate and validate binder documents, including insured details, effective dates, policy numbers, and payment information.

  • Communicate with Placement Specialists and/or Agents to confirm binding completion, send necessary documentation, and address any follow-up inquiries.

  • Ensure all required documents are properly attached, recorded, and accessible in the system.

  • Maintain compliance with all binding policies and procedures while meeting required timelines.
     

Preferred Qualifications
  • Team player who is flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Background in customer service, preferably in an insurance or financial setting.

  • Experience in insurance processing and policy servicing preferred.

  • Ability to follow structured procedures and maintain compliance standards.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle time-sensitive requests.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Internet proficiency.

Education and Experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in the insurance industry.

  • Commercial lines experience preferred.
     

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license (required)

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $42,960.00 - 74,527.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
