POSITION:
Vesta is a rapidly growing software acquisitions company expanding across Europe. With acquisitions planned in several European countries we are looking to strengthen our HR team to support the integration of new businesses and ensure smooth business-as-usual (BAU) HR operations across the European region.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Advisor to support our growing European operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the HR team and business leaders to drive HR initiatives across multiple countries. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR processes, supporting employees through acquisitions, and managing day-to-day HR activities in the European region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acquisition Integration Support:
Support the HR integration process for newly acquired companies, including onboarding, aligning HR policies, and facilitating communication between the acquired teams and the broader organisation where applicable
Assist in the harmonization of compensation, benefits, and employee terms and conditions for acquired employees where applicable
Coordinate and manage change management initiatives related to the integration process where necessary.
Employee Relations and Support:
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees across the European region, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and local labor law compliance
Provide advice and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management and disciplinary actions
Help resolve employee concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Partner with business leaders to identify recruitment needs, assist with job postings, and manage the hiring process across multiple countries
Ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with local employment laws and company values
Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company.
HR Administration and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in specific European location
Manage HR administration including employee data, contracts, and benefits administration where applicable
Support payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely processing i.e. Czech, Spain, Romania payroll tasks.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and work with business leaders to develop and deliver employee development programs
Support the delivery of HR workshops and employee engagement initiatives across Europe.
Employee Engagement:
Work with leadership teams to promote a positive and inclusive company culture across the region
Support employee engagement initiatives, helping to drive retention and performance improvement.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives, including performance management, employee wellness programs, and compensation reviews
Contribute to HR projects as needed, such as employee satisfaction surveys and HR policy updates.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, multi-country environment. Experience with acquisitions or mergers is a strong advantage
HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of European labor laws and HR best practices
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across different cultures and regions
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing employee and organisational issues
Multilingual: Fluency in English is essential with a second language an advantage
HR Systems: Familiarity with HRIS systems and tools (e.g., Workday or similar platforms)
Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds and regions
Travel: An element of travel will be required across Europe based on acquisition activities.
