Due to the success of our organization, we are hiring a Content Writer to join our Marketing Team! This is a remote position.

HCD is seeking a B2B Content Writer with 5-6 years of proven experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in healthcare or a related industry. This role is ideal for a strategic writer who excels at generating leads, increasing engagement, and driving customer retention through compelling content across multiple channels. 

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled writer with expertise in AP style, grammar, and punctuation, who can craft content that aligns with HCD’s brand voice and business objectives. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing a comprehensive editorial content calendar, ensuring consistency, relevance, and impact across all B2B marketing initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Content Strategy & Execution: 

  • Develop, manage, and execute a strategic editorial content calendar to maintain consistent, high-impact messaging across all B2B channels.
  • Create, define, and document B2B content strategy recommendations for digital, web, social, nurture campaigns, and traditional marketing efforts.
  • Identify gaps in current B2B content strategy and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and engagement. 

Content Creation & Writing: 

Write, edit, and proofread lead-generating content for B2B audiences, including:

  • Email marketing campaigns (nurture sequences, promotional emails)
  • Website and landing page copy
  • Blogs and thought leadership content
  • Organic and paid social media posts
  • Sales collateral (brochures, whitepapers, case studies)
  • Develop KPIs for content performance and measure success in lead generation and audience engagement.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of HCD’s content style guides to ensure brand consistency. 

Social Media & Digital Content Management: 

  • Across all audiences and channels [B2B and B2C], schedule, tag, post, and track performance of B2B social media content to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure content and visuals are aligned for maximum impact.
  • Manage and publish content on HCD.com and ancillary websites via content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with internal teams — including Sales, IT, Creative, Product, Legal, HR, and Customer Service — to ensure alignment and effectiveness of content strategies. Focus on Sales/Growth for B2B.
  • Ensure all content meets compliance guidelines and is approved by key stakeholders, marketing leadership, and legal.
  • Provide content guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience writing press releases and video scripts.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot, Infor, or Marketo for content automation.
  • Background in healthcare marketing or regulatory-compliant content writing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours a day, while working at a computer station.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using a keyboard, mouse, and other computer peripherals for data entry and communication purposes.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods, with good visual acuity to read small print and accurately enter data.
  • Hearing: Adequate hearing ability, with or without correction, to understand and respond to customer inquiries via telephone or other audio equipment.
  • Repetitive Movements: Regular use of the hands, wrists, and fingers to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse.

COMPENSATION:

This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary of $80,000.00
