Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a strong background in BIM (Building Information Modeling) to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and modeling electrical services in alignment with project design strategies, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and coordinating efforts with various engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in electrical engineering and a proven track record in using BIM software, particularly Revit, to create high-quality models and documentation.

Responsibilities:

Electrical Design:

Develop and model electrical systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, fire alarms) in accordance with the project's design objectives.
Ensure all electrical designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

BIM Coordination:

Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
Coordinate design efforts with external consultants, including architects and clients.

Documentation and Deliverables:

Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, and schedules of quantities based on the BIM model for pricing purposes.
Prepare detailed project specifications in line with product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, such as circuit theory, power systems, and electrical codes.
Stay current with the latest developments in BIM methodologies and technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design.
At least 1 year of professional experience using Revit.
Proven proficiency in BIM software (Revit).
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and their application in building design.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
IELTS certification or similar language proficiency certification.
A portfolio of completed projects.
