Job Title: HR & Payroll Specialist
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 2000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a growing company in the healthcare and administrative services space, seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to foster a positive work environment, manage payroll processes, and support employee relations.

Position Overview:

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional with experience in employee relations and payroll administration. You will serve as a key contact for employees, ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance with company policies, and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive and safe work environment through effective employee relations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clinical and administrative hires, assisting with onboarding and contract management.
  • Handle employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage performance reviews and employee development processes.
  • Implement and maintain company policies and compliance procedures.
  • Administer payroll processing, employee benefits, and leave management.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurate and submitted on time (If full payroll processing is required, experience with Gusto/ADP is essential).


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR experience, including payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
  • Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Excellent English communication skills (Preferred: 60+/100 on our English scale).


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Gusto or ADP Payroll systems.
