Requirements

What You'll Do:
  •  Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with Australian regulations (e.g., Privacy Act, ASD Essential 8).
  • Monitor security events and lead incident response efforts, minimizing impact on client services.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, ensuring alignment with Australian standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Identify vulnerabilities, manage patching processes, and mitigate security risks.
  • Train staff and clients on cybersecurity best practices to promote a security-first culture.
  •  Work with internal teams to integrate security and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party vendor security to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
  •  Design secure infrastructure solutions aligned with Australian cybersecurity best practices.

What You'll Bring:
  • Strong background in cybersecurity with knowledge of Australian regulations (e.g., Privacy Act, ASD Essential 8).
  •  Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Expertise in security tools (SIEM, firewalls, cloud security) and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to assess and address security risks and incidents.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex security issues to non-technical teams.
  • Highly organized and meticulous in implementing security measures.
  • Commitment to staying updated on cybersecurity trends and pursuing relevant certifications.
  • Familiarity with Australian cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
