Job Description

Network & Performance Engineering team creates a unique connection between telco domain know-how, a wide range of well-designed tools, and data science capabilities. Our main target is to provide in-depth technical expertise for Radio and Cloud products with a focus on 5G solutions and their performance aspects.

We are looking for a Telecommunication Expert who will help us create and deliver system-level product expertise while also supporting our customers in gaining best-in-class knowledge of the deep technical aspects of Nokia solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in developing product intelligence and knowledge engineering systems.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Build a deep understanding about complex 5G RRM features, became Subject Matter Expert who serves as a best practice resource and is recognized within the same professional area
  • Interlock with R&D, NPO and Service organization to identify all possible aspects about feature usability and performance expectations
  • Contribute towards feature Specification and Product Documentation creation for both internal and external usage
  • Focus on the customer perspective, assure features functionality is described in Product Documentation in an organized and easy-to-read way
  • Identify network performance impact based on the first NPI project and internal R&D testing results, understand conditions and relations
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve 5G product
  • Solves complex network performance problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment
  • Applies and maintains quality standards
  • Contributes to strategic decisions within a professional area

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Typically 6+ years of experience in the telecom domain
  • Advanced knowledge of 5G systems, particularly in the RRM area
  • The ability to analyze, develop, and implement concepts and solutions as a Subject Matter Expert
  • The capability to challenge feature design aspects and drive improvements
  • Experience executing and/or overseeing processes to meet customer needs
  • Excellent presentation skills with fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of 5G radio network planning and optimization principles
  • High motivation to expand the knowledge
  • Ability to operate autonomously within your subject area
