Role Overview:

The Tariff Mitigation Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing the company’s duty exposure through strategic supply chain and compliance initiatives. This role bridges supply chain strategy and trade compliance, ensuring that sourcing decisions and product line placement algin with global trade regulations while minimizing tariff impact.

Work Environment:  This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States

Key Responsibilities

Tariff Mitigation & Compliance Strategy

• Support supply chain and procurement teams in evaluating the impact of trade regulations on product costs and global sourcing strategies.
• Review and assess product line placements to determine potential tariff engineering opportunities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Analyze sourcing decisions and material composition to identify opportunities for tariff reduction.
• Ensure accurate country of origin determinations, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to validate COO and rule of origin compliance.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with finance, logistics, and supply chain teams to quantify and report on duty savings achieve through tariff mitigation efforts.
• Support automation initiatives for trade compliance processes, including duty savings tracking.

Trade Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

• Work with engineering, procurement, and legal teams to confirm that Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and material sourcing align with trade compliance best practices.
• Conduct tariff classification reviews in collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in HTS codes.
• Assist in preparing documentation as needed.

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, supply chain, or tariff management.
• Strong knowledge of trade regulations.
• Experience working with global sourcing, procurement, and supply chain teams to influence sourcing decisions.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend actionable strategies.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and logistics.

Base Salary: $100k - $130k

Within the range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the job requirements. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
