Job description

Job Title: Chief of Staff
Location:
Remote (CST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 3500 USD + performance-based bonuses
Travel: Occasional travel to clinic locations as needed

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a fast-growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) currently operating one clinic, with plans to open its second location this fall. The organization is focused on rapid expansion, operational excellence, and building a high-performance team to scale efficiently. This role offers a rare opportunity to work side-by-side with the CEO and help shape the companys growth trajectory from the ground up.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a strategic, business-minded Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO and lead key initiatives across operations, expansion, sales, and team building. This is not a support role, its a hands-on leadership-track position for someone with strong business experience, a track record of managing complex projects, and the ability to drive cross-functional execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shadow the CEO to learn all aspects of dental clinic operations and expansion.
  • Assist with patient acquisition strategies and sales-focused initiatives.
  • Support the opening of new clinic locations, including site selection, lease documentation, and physical setup.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents and manage location sourcing and leasing workflows.
  • Learn to recruit and onboard top-performing dentists and clinical staff.
  • Work closely with the operations team to understand, optimize, and scale internal processes.
  • Lead or co-lead cross-functional projects related to expansion, hiring, and performance.
  • Over time, take increasing ownership of clinic expansion strategy and execution.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or team leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing teams, leading projects, and improving business systems.
  • Strong sales background or orientation.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field required (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, assertive, and results-driven work style.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • No prior dental industry experience is required, on-the-job learning will be provided.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in healthcare, real estate, or recruitment.
  • Background in startups, operations, or consulting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, and Google Workspace.
