Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Gambling News Editor. 

In this role, you will support the Managing Editor in overseeing the editorial process, curating the gambling section of the newsfeed, and ensuring timely and accurate news coverage. You will contribute to news strategy development, align content with industry trends, and handle routine editorial tasks, including wire reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Editorial Support: Assist the Managing Editor in overseeing the editorial process including curating the gambling section of the newsfeed.
  • News Production: Contribute to the development and execution of news strategies that align with industry trends and company goals. Routine editorial and wire reporting is required in this position.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with writers and other editors to maintain a consistent voice and style across all platforms.
  • Daily Management: Handle day-to-day details of editorial operations, including assigning tasks, reviewing content, and ensuring timely publication.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure all content aligns with the publication’s brand and editorial guidelines.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the iGaming and Casino Industry.

  

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of reporting or editing news, with a strong inclination for the editorial and organizational side of the job.
  • 2-3 years gambling journalism experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and editorial skills.
  • Current understanding of the iGaming and Casino Industry, including key players and trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and other editorial tools.
