Role Summary:

By working closely with Sales, Product Marketing & Marketing the Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for boosting the productivity of our sales team at Silent Eight. They are an expert in Salesforce, will track multiple performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and areas of success, organise engaging sales kick-offs, and minimise barriers during the sales cycle. They will ensure new sales team members are onboarded quickly and efficiently, equipped with quality sales content, and guided on when and how to use resources effectively. They will facilitate impactful sales training and onboarding.

Responsibilities:

SALES OPERATIONS

  • Own and administer Salesforce CRM, including customisation, user support, reporting, team training and integrations with other GTM tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and actionable reporting by maintaining clean CRM data, building dashboards, and delivering performance insights.
  • Manage CRM-related projects, including system enhancements, process rollouts, and tool implementations.
  • Own and administer sales tools used by the sales team, including providing comprehensive training to drive adoption of new tools and enhance the effective use of existing ones. 
  • Regularly assess and evaluate tools for their value, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
  • Work closely with finance on Revenue performance and forecasting
  • Target account penetration analysis and reporting
  • Document and monitor the sales process for reporting and success measurement.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the sales process and propose solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales team, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and responding to ad hoc requests.

SALES ENABLEMENT

  • Training and Onboarding: Support the onboarding and ongoing training of new sales team members by coordinating training sessions, creating training materials, managing training schedules, and co-organising SKO’s.
  • Resource Development and Management: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales & Marketing to co-create, manage, and maintain sales enablement content, such as playbooks, training materials, product guides, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Identify knowledge gaps in external product communication through collaboration with cross functional teams.
  • Data and Insights: Collaborate with sales, product marketing and marketing to analyse performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve sales strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in sales operations in a B2B technology company.
  • Deep Salesforce expertise – Hands-on experience with admin tasks, customisation, reporting, data management and integrations; ideally Salesforce-certified.
  • Solid experience with common sales tools such as Salesloft, Zoom Info and Zoom.
  • Strong data & analytics skills – Proficient in managing CRM data quality, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Process optimisation mindset – Skilled in mapping and improving revenue processes across sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Cross-functional collaborator – Effective communicator who aligns with GTM and finance teams to drive revenue strategy.
  • Project ownership & agility – Experience leading CRM-related projects and working in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable and highly organised.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Financial Crime industry.
  • Familiarity with account-based strategies.
