Job description

Sigma Defense is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to provide remote support to our Finance team.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of experience managing Accounts Payable.
  • Regulatory compliance experience with licenses, filings, sales tax, and taxes.
  • CAPP Certified AP Professional is preferred.
  • JAMIS experience, management experience, and multi-state compliance experience is preferred.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Managing the AP function for all of Sigma Defense and its subsidiaries.
  • Transaction supervision.
  • Leading training and guidance for all AP transaction types and processes.
  • Manage flow of accounts payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Responds to requests for information.
  • Maintains vendor profiles and contract renewals.
  • Responsible for state and local business licenses and tax compliance.
  • Responsible for applying and maintaining sales tax exemption records.
  • Tracking portal credentials and filing schedules.
  • Understands purchasing and interacts with functional areas, Human Resources, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in audits.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually.
