Sigma Defense is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to provide remote support to our Finance team.

Requirements

5 - 10 years of experience managing Accounts Payable.
Regulatory compliance experience with licenses, filings, sales tax, and taxes.
CAPP Certified AP Professional is preferred.
JAMIS experience, management experience, and multi-state compliance experience is preferred.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

Managing the AP function for all of Sigma Defense and its subsidiaries.
Transaction supervision.
Leading training and guidance for all AP transaction types and processes.
Manage flow of accounts payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Responds to requests for information.
Maintains vendor profiles and contract renewals.
Responsible for state and local business licenses and tax compliance.
Responsible for applying and maintaining sales tax exemption records.
Tracking portal credentials and filing schedules.
Understands purchasing and interacts with functional areas, Human Resources, and subcontractors.
Participate in audits.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually.
