Job description

At Rotex, we are expanding our presence in Latin America and are seeking a Sales Account/Relationship Manager to drive this initiative. This role is essential for developing effective sales strategies and fostering long-term client partnerships, ultimately contributing to our revenue growth and customer satisfaction. The individual will serve as a key liaison between our clients and the company, ensuring we deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs. By joining our team, you will play a pivotal role in solidifying Rotex's reputation as an industry leader and shaping our future success in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage sales of all products within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Direct and motivate Rotex field representatives to achieve sales targets and enhance market share.
  • Implement strategies to grow Rotex's market presence in assigned markets while maintaining high ethical business standards and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage sales activities, including training representatives, providing field support, generating sales leads, and conducting sales analysis and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the After Market Department to develop and execute sales strategies aimed at increasing market share for machines and replacement parts.
  • Provide input to the Marketing Department for the creation of promotional materials and participation in trade shows.
  • Work closely with the Product Development Group to ensure product offerings meet market needs as defined by marketing plans.
  • Utilize lab testing and screening expertise to select appropriate equipment that meets customer application requirements.
  • Generate customer proposals and maintain accurate sales/customer information in the company’s CRM system.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support to resolve field and application issues.
  • Assist the Operations Group in identifying and establishing supplier sources as needed.
  • Develop and manage a budget for areas of responsibility, ensuring adherence to authorized budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform additional assignments as required to support the Sales Manager role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese required. Proficiency in Spanish highly desired.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in CRM systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales or equivalent management experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks effectively.
