Job Summary/Description:

Gray Digital Media is offering a rare opportunity to unlock your leadership potential as a Regional Sales Director (RSD). This pivotal role will place you at the forefront of our national growth strategy, where you will collaborate with a dynamic team to offer strategic guidance for key accounts, spearhead digital transformation, and drive digital revenue. This position is entirely remote and can be applied for from any state where Gray Media operates.
You will thrive in this role if you have extensive expertise working with healthcare or legal clients, or within one of those industries, and have had success in cultivating and growing large-scale clients with regional or national footprints.

Your Mission:
• Develop and execute tailored account strategies and best practices, leveraging your expertise in the healthcare or legal sectors.
• Design and deliver impactful sales education and development programs focused on your specialized vertical.
• Forge strong, collaborative relationships with station sales and leadership teams, becoming their trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Analyze station sales objectives, revenue goals, and challenges to provide data-driven guidance and achieve outstanding results.
• Manage and optimize digital sales efforts across a designated region, ensuring alignment with national objectives.
• Provide strategic support during high-level client meetings, highlighting your industry expertise and closing key deals.
• Mentor and develop sales leaders, fostering a culture of excellence and driving continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to maximize local market efficiencies and optimize digital workflows.
• Travel to various markets to inspire revenue growth and product knowledge.
• Oversee digital revenue forecasting and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-5+ years of proven success in sales and management, with a strong record of exceeding revenue targets.
• Extensive industry knowledge and experience working with healthcare or legal clients, including regional and national accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing sales teams in a digital environment, while also working independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to make good decisions calmly and adapt to changing priorities swiftly.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a data-driven approach.
• History of converting challenges into opportunities.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate individuals and teams with an ardent desire to help others succeed.
