Grain Team Lead

We have an exciting opportunity within our data collection team at DTN! We are seeking a Grain Team Lead who will provide key information and reports for all grain bids. Grain bids are a crucial part of our business as you will be gathering key pricing data for grain prices for key buyers across the USA.    

About the role and what you will be responsible for: 

• Utilize import process to gather large groupings of data 

• Run/generate reports on previous days' data to research and correct any suspicious prices 

• Run/generate reports to identify any elevators that have stopped posting prices 

• Input out-of-range bids 

• Enter late bids. 

• Execute Lockdown End of Day 

• Gather and distribute fertilizer price indexes. 

• Research elevators/problem solving 

• Update elevator information, such as adding or removing commodities 

• Assist with monthly check-ins 

• Assign call sheets/workflow rotation 

• Special research projects

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is $19 per hour. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
