Job description

APPLICATION DEVELOPER

GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Ontario, Canada looking to add a Application Developer to their team. The role is a Direct Hire position. This role is 100% remote, but candidates must reside in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our development team to design, develop, and implement new features using C#. Net, Rest API's, TSQL/SQL, VB.Net ASP .NET, AWS, Web Forms, Angular and other modern technologies
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Ensure the best possible performance, scalability, and reliability of the application
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and recommend new approaches and solutions as appropriate

Qualifications:

1 - 3 years of experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures in T-SQL and SQL
1 - 3 years of Experience with the following (or similar): AngularJS, VB.Net, Web Forms
Strong knowledge of C#.net and VB .NET along with modern web development technologies
Experience with large enterprise applications and complex systems
Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
Development will include creation of, and enhancements to, front end web forms, APIs, SQL stored procedures, and other related technologies.
