What you'll be doing

Global Thought Leadership & Innovation

• Shape the global FinOps narrative across public, private, and hybrid cloud ecosystems.
• Lead the development of next-gen FinOps frameworks, toolkits, and IP, positioning NTT DATA as a premier innovation partner for enterprise cloud economics.
• Represent NTT DATA at global events, FinOps Foundation initiatives, analyst briefings, and client innovation councils.
• Publish thought leadership that fuses FinOps, AI, sustainability, and future-state operating models.

FinOps Strategy & Capability Development

• Define and evolve the global FinOps capability vision, roadmap, and operating model.
• Develop a differentiated, full-stack FinOps offering across the entire FinOps Framework (Inform → Optimize → Operate).
• Build accelerators and reusable IP to enable FinOps in multicloud, private cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Partner across Cloud Strategy, CloudOps, ESG, and AI teams to integrate FinOps into every stage of cloud transformation.

Client & Ecosystem Influence

• Serve as executive advisor to CxOs, helping clients realize cloud value through financial accountability, cost control, and strategic forecasting.
• Lead flagship client transformations, bringing visibility, optimization, and intelligent automation to cloud spend.
• Drive FinOps innovation with hyperscaler alliances (AWS, Azure, GCP) and FinOps tech providers (Apptio, Flexera, native tooling).
• Integrate sustainability metrics, Scope 3 carbon insights, and ESG frameworks into the FinOps lifecycle.

Platform Expertise & Tooling Leadership

• Architect and guide tooling strategy across:
• Apptio Cloudability
• Flexera One
• Azure Cost Management
• AWS Cost Explorer
• GCP Cloud Billing
• Emerging AI/ML-based FinOps platforms
• Apply FinOps practices to private cloud and traditional data center environments, enabling full-spectrum financial governance.

What You Bring

• 10+ years in cloud strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise IT, with 4+ years leading FinOps or cloud financial management at a global level.
• Track record of shaping FinOps thought leadership or building large-scale FinOps practices in consulting or enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise across all FinOps domains: allocation, budgeting, optimization, chargeback, governance, and automation.
• Hands-on knowledge of major FinOps tools and cloud-native platforms.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (SCI, GHG, Scope 3) and cloud carbon accounting (preferred).
• Executive presence and storytelling skills to engage C-level stakeholders and global audiences.
• FinOps Certified Professional or equivalent experience preferred.
