We're building that world with an exceptional team dedicated to helping people and families manage, navigate, and access quality care—with a strong emphasis on complex care. This often includes senior care, childcare, and support for individuals with chronic conditions.

At Wellthy, we merge unparalleled care expertise with agile, tech-powered product. We partner with leading companies—including more than 30 Fortune 500 companies—to support the care needs of their workforces globally. We also collaborate with health plans to provide comprehensive care support for their members.

We’re building, evolving, and expanding the market category for care, and we’re looking for responsive, collaborative, curious, and purposeful colleagues to join us.

As our Care Specialist, you will have a unique hybrid opportunity to primarily serve as a back-end adviser while also seeking ways to support Wellthy members on the front lines. In this role, you will address the unique caretaking needs of families and members within Asia Pacific regions (e.g., Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Australia etc…) by organizing and managing care plans. Your primary responsibilities will involve back-end logistical tasks, such as finding the right provider, managing medical bills, making appointments, tracking medications, and vetting facilities and insurance. Additionally, you will own a subset of Care Projects that enhance the member experience and allow you to connect with families and caregivers when opportunities arise.

You will report directly to the Director of Care, Global Team.

To be successful in this role:

  • Utilize your expertise, skills, and judgment to advise, research, coordinate, and effectively execute healthcare-related tasks for members and families across diverse global markets, with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific region.
  • Have a strong understanding and be sensitive to the care needs of a working family, taking into account varying cultural, social, and healthcare system differences across regions.
  • Continuously learn and contribute to a broader understanding of global service-related areas to support your growth and development, especially during peak periods or regional surges in demand..
  • Support the improvement and localization of Wellthy Guides and Community Resources to reflect regional nuances and cultural considerations
  • Collaborate on non-client-specific initiatives, including providing feedback and suggestions related to Wellthy’s global products, services, marketing, and guides.
  • Maintain a subset of care projects and tasks, supporting both on the front lines and guiding Wellthy members through their care experiences.
