Market Development Department
The Market Development team drives the technology, innovation and new development of data center infrastructure across Vantage’s companywide portfolio. The department evaluates new sites, drives cost and scheduling in line with company goals and serves as subject matter authorities across the entire project lifecycle from concept through commissioning. The team collaborates with Sales, Operations and management along the way. New Site Dev also works hand in hand with the Construction team to come up with a vertically integrated design and ensures new and existing standards and designs are completed successfully. One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our technical staff are given the responsibility and authority to directly drive tangible results. Our team can align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with company goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high-impact decisions and results.

Vantage is looking for a Real Estate professional to drive the identification and selection of new data center campuses, in line with corporate goals and changing customer demands. This role is responsible for a single key function in the Vantage Market Development team by leading the Site Selection team in certain markets and helping to identify potential new markets. The right leader will oversee site selection in the certain markets, contribute to market evaluation, negotiate agreements on acquisitions and at the appropriate time transition sites to the New Site Development Team for development & entitlements after successful site acquisition. Key elements of the role include site selection for specific regions or markets, identifying large industrial estates capable of supporting hyperscale data center campuses, interacting with brokers, developers and other potential sellers and partners, and interfacing with other members of the Market Development team.
Constant communication with Market Development, Sales, Marketing, New Site Development, and subject matter experts will be required to keep pace with Vantage’s strategic land acquisition goals, including enhancing Vantage’s product and service offering wherever possible. Collaboration and integration in the sales lifecycle process including client interface is integral to the role as well.
