Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible between 9 AM to 5 PM | New Zealand Timezone

Paid hours per week: 20 paid hours per week

Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeping and Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting our multi-entity agricultural operations. This role offers the perfect blend of independence and structured support, where you’ll work with modern accounting software while maintaining the financial processes that keep our farming operations running smoothly. Responsibilities
  • Process and manage accounts payable across multiple business entities using Xero accounting software
  • Perform accurate and timely invoice uploads and data entry
  • Execute regular account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Maintain organized digital records for multiple farming operations
  • Monitor and track financial transactions across various business entities
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Support month-end closing procedures as needed
  • Other basic administrative tasks as needed by the client


Requirements
  • Proven experience with Xero accounting software
  • Strong foundation in basic bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellence in organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience handling multiple business entities (preferred)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
