The Role
We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to join our core Marketing team at Lumen. As a Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for leading our Security and Vyvx portfolio. You will oversee a team of product marketing leaders and be instrumental in planning, implementing, and managing our overall product marketing strategy. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Content and Storytelling.
Work Location
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
- Develop Comprehensive Product Marketing Strategies: Drive usage and cross-sell of Security and Vyvx products.
- Create Compelling Product Positioning: Develop value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
- Implement Data-Driven Marketing Campaigns: Drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth in conjunction with our Growth Marketing organization.
- Lead Product Marketing Team: Guide and mentor product marketing leaders to ensure alignment on product messaging and positioning.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, IT, and customer service departments to support product strategy.
- Conduct Competitive Analysis and Market Research: Identify trends, opportunities, and threats to inform marketing strategies.
- Develop Content: Create content for external websites, first meeting presentations, product fit validation, and deployment architectures.
- Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Gather insights and support product strategy through strong stakeholder engagement.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related area.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform marketing strategies.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$171,447 - $228,596 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$180,020 - $240,026 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$188,592 - $251,456 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
