Position Overview

As a NetSuite Accounting Expert, you'll be responsible for leveraging your accounting expertise and in-depth knowledge of NetSuite to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, optimize accounting processes, and support the enhancement and further roll-out of functionality for a recent NetSuite implementation from PeopleSoft

Responsibilities

• Experience with a multi-national, multi-currency accounting environment
• Understand the rules that NetSuite applies to foreign currency transactions and their subsequent translation
• Advise on end-to-end NetSuite functionality and how to re-configure existing modules or recommending new ones
• Configure and recommend NetSuite reports
• Review and make recommendations for improvements to month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Triage general ledger accounts integration issues
• Make recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness in our current NetSuite ERP system, that ensures accurate and timely financial data
• Provide training and support to staff on NetSuite accounting modules
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Required Skillsets

• This is a remote position based in the United States
• Eastern Time Zone preferred, ability to work with other time zones is required
• 7+ years of NetSuite Expertise
• Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues
• Identify opportunities to optimize NetSuite processes and workflows
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Expert knowledge of NetSuite, including its modules and functionalities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
