Your role in our mission

- Senior Developer to provide support of system modifications and contractual requirements on the Alabama Gainwell Technologies account.
- Analyze, design and write specifications and requirements from which we develop and code programs
- Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
- Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
- Evaluate existing systems and programs.
- Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
What we're looking for
- 6 + years of applications development, batch programming and testing experience with UNIX/LINUX, C and SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
- C language is required, and Pro C and C++ is preferred
- Experience in Medicaid IT systems is preferred
- Design principles and end-to-end software development life cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation and testing of systems
- Support personnel and clients, and for documenting and executing unit test cases

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
