Job description

Are you ready to thrive in a dynamic, global healthcare communications agency? AMICULUM is seeking a self-driven and passionate account manager to join our talented team. This role offers the chance to make an impact on scientific communication projects while building lasting relationships with clients, all within a supportive, collaborative environment.


The role

The role will involve providing support for a franchise account that comprises two products for rare diseases in haematology. These projects span various scientific communication activities, such as internal and external medical education, meetings, congresses and publications. A central aspect of this role is fostering strong client relationships, ensuring clear and timely communication to keep both clients and internal teams informed throughout each stage of the project.

You can choose to work in any of our UK offices or embrace the flexibility of a fully remote role based in the UK or Ireland.

Key responsibilities

  • Be the driving force: Proactively manage and drive diverse projects to success, coordinating medical writing, creative and compliance processes while ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Shape the future: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients and colleagues to deliver creative solutions while strategically growing the account
  • Achieve excellence together: Support the team in shaping the account’s future and establish trust through innovative approaches, robust financial management and proactive relationship building


What you’ll need

  • A solid understanding of medical communications and experience in delivering impactful publications, medical education and meetings
  • The ability to communicate effortlessly and effectively with both colleagues and clients
  • Exceptional project and financial management skills
