We are seeking a Part Time Associate Application Administrator. As an Associate Applications Administrator, you would maintain the various corporate facing web based systems and work with ACST associates to implement, update, and upgrade software. The Associate Application Administrator also helps integrate data across systems and make modifications to meet the dynamic needs of corporate facing systems. The Associate Application Administrator works with department staff and end users to design, develop, modify and test software implementations and upgrades.
What You’ll Do:
Configures UI, services, settings, directories, storage, systems, etc. in accordance with standards, best practices, contractual maintenance agreements and project/operational requirements.
Creates, changes, and deletes user accounts per authorized request.
Contributes to and maintains system standards. Maintains operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Researches and recommends innovative or automated approaches where applicable.
Performs daily system monitoring, verifies the integrity and availability of all web based applications, systems and key processes, reviews system and application logs, and verifies the completion of scheduled jobs.
Works with IT Security to ensure standards and best practices are maintained and adhered to.
Repairs and recovers from software failures. Coordinates and communicates with impacted constituencies. Applies patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrades administrative tools and utilities. Configures or adds new services as authorized.
Investigates and troubleshoots issues, escalating issues to the appropriate person/area/department. Upgrades and configures system software that support infrastructure applications per project or operational needs.
Works with Network Administrator(s) and Third Party Vendor(s) to resolve issues as needed.
Develops custom reports and performs data extractions to support decision-making processes.
What We’re Looking For:
BS in Computer Science or related, with at least 1-3 in application administration, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
Knowledge of front end web architecture and UI design
Knowledge of SQL syntax and conceptual data modeling and familiar with standard database concepts, practices and procedures a plus
Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
Must be able to work with changing processes and handle multiple, conflicting priorities
Strong teamwork skills, Agile experience a plus
Technical problem-solving skills regarding systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair the various situations that arise in an IT environment
