About the Role
The HR Associate Intern will assist with operational activities across the business to maximize efficiency and reduce cost. The goal is to provide additional support to the Human Resources department which aims to increase employee engagement and ensure all people have knowledge around roles, responsibilities, and performance measures. This could include significant research with AI and other efficiency capabilities. This role may be project-oriented or may help with overall support in areas where needed.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist with various administrative and operational tasks related to the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting recruitment events. 
  • Job Posting: Posting job openings on various platforms, including online job boards and company websites. 
  • Resume Screening: Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates. 
  • Interview Scheduling: Coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers. 
  • Candidate Communication: Maintaining contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, and answering inquiries. 
  • Data Entry and Management: Updating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintaining accurate records of candidates. 
  • Event Support: Assisting with recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus visits. 
  • Onboarding Support: Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Background Checks: Conducting background checks on candidates (under supervision).
  • Reference Checks: Organizing or conducting reference checks.
  • Report Generation: Preparing reports on recruitment activities and metrics.
  • HR Policy Support: Assisting with HR policies and procedures.
  • Internship Program Support: Assisting with the development and implementation of internship programs. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Handling general office tasks, such as filing, organizing documents, and answering phone calls. 
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Chief People Oficer

  • Qualifications:
  • Working toward attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
  • Proficient with Google Workspace apps (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Comfortable with analyzing data and working in spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with ADP or other HRIS systems a plus
  • Familiarity with Slack a plus
