Job description

We are seeking a Business Systems Configuration Analyst to join IQVIA Laboratories in a remote position.

Under general supervision, you will be providing systems support in developing and enhancing business systems to offer new or improved features to clients. This includes utilizing effective planning, reporting, and business analysis tools.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.
  • Creating reports using SSRS and/or other reporting technology (Power BI) based on user requirements.
  • Modifying moderately complex information systems using low code configuration tools.
  • Participating in the analysis of business and user needs, and revising existing system logic as necessary.
  • Configuring and customizing Planview Portfolios to meet business requirements.
  • Integrating Planview with other enterprise systems and ensuring data consistency.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting low code system implementations.
  • Knowledge of laboratory business-wide applications (e.g., Watson LIMS, IDBS, PlanView Portfolios) or IQVIA Laboratories applications and products.
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements and underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes.
  • Experience with data integration tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of SOX and/or GxP compliance requirements and internal controls.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical information into understandable terms for various audiences.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $87,000.00 - $145,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
