THE ROLE

Torch is looking for a Lead Product Manager to drive innovation across our customer-facing data and reporting products, customer admin/program management experience, and internal admin tooling. This is a cross-cutting role that touches the heart of how organizations and our internal teams manage coaching programs, monitor engagement, and measure impact.

You’ll own a portfolio of product areas that empower customers to oversee and optimize their coaching programs—including participant management, engagement visibility, and program tracking. At the same time, you’ll collaborate closely with data science and engineering to develop AI-powered reporting tools and predictive insights, helping organizations understand the value of their investment in leadership development.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who’s strategic, execution-focused, and fluent in both product thinking and data storytelling. You’ll shape user experiences that are as insightful as they are intuitive, and help internal and external users make better decisions—faster.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Customer-facing Data & Reporting Products
- Own self-serve dashboards, automated reports, and analytics that show customers how coaching is working
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable experiences that support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with data engineering and data science to develop AI/ML-powered insights and predictive metrics

Customer Admin Experience
- Improve usability and effectiveness of tools that allow HR and L&D teams to manage coaching programs
- Enhance features that support participant management, program engagement tracking, and user workflows
- Make complex workflows simple, so admins can focus on driving impact, not managing logistics

Internal Admin Tools
- Evolve internal tools that support operations like coach matching
- Help internal teams (e.g., Coaching Operations, Customer Success) be more efficient and empowered

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own Product Strategy & Execution
- Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap across customer-facing reporting, admin tools, and internal operational tools
- Translate user needs and business goals into clear product requirements, success metrics, and measurement frameworks
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and data scientists to build intuitive, scalable, and impactful features

Drive AI-Powered Insights & Reporting
- Design and implement comprehensive data collection and reporting strategies that tell a compelling end-to-end story of coaching impact
- Drive the vision for AI-powered self-serve analytics products, leveraging machine learning for predictive insights and dynamic trend analysis
- Collaborate with product and data engineering to implement technical solutions, and maintain clear documentation of metrics, data definitions, and methodologies

Champion Data Culture & Storytelling
- Use data and feedback to continuously analyze user behavior, validate opportunities, and inform prioritization
- Tap into the creativity of storytelling to connect the dots across data and surface valuable insights for customers
- Champion a data-informed culture at Torch by encouraging the adoption, understanding, and internal alignment around key data practices

Partner & Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with internal stakeholders—including operations, customer success, and account teams—to understand cross-functional pain points and opportunities
- Collaborate directly with customers and customer-facing teams to identify data needs, use cases, and challenges

YOU HAVE
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with end-to-end ownership of complex products
  • 3+ years working on data products, analytics tools, or reporting experiences
  • 2+ years working with AI/ML-driven product features (e.g., predictive insights, recommendation engines, automated analytics)
  • Strong product discovery and execution skills—you know how to turn insight into action
  • Fluency with SQL and experience working with data pipelines, models, or ETL processes
  • Comfort working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • A sharp eye for usability and a deep empathy for users—whether they’re HR admins, coaches, or internal ops teams

  • NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience delivering products as part of a B2B2C service design model
  • Expertise in learning & development, behavioral science, leadership, coaching, or workforce management
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

  • TORCH PROVIDES
  • Generous Benefits – 401K, health insurance (medical, life and disability insurance, 16 weeks paid parental leave, and your own Torch coach)
  • Impactful Mission-Driven Work – Help empower a new generation of leaders to evolve as fast as the world around them
  • A Team Who Walks The Walk – We understand coaching's transformative power firsthand and our internal practices are shaped by the same leadership principles we champion
  • Remote-First Culture – Work from anywhere in the U.S. with unlimited FlexTime
  • Competitive Compensation – Salary range of $160,000 – $200,000 plus equity options
