About the role

As a Business Development Manager for Hästens on the West Coast (US & Canada) you will be responsible for driving Hästens growth and expansion within your region. You will be the ultimate brand ambassador for Hästens and report to our Country Sales Leader in North America. You will collaborate with the highest level partners to enhance store sales performance and contribute to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include working with store partners to:

  • Develop Business Action Plans (BAP) to achieve sales targets
  • Execute BAP initiatives, contributing to local marketing strategies and ensuring alignment with Hästens' world-class standards
  • Ensure that the brand building is being driven through initiatives to enhance brand loyaly as well as brand recognition
  • Analyze and monitor store performance against predefined targets and drive success
  • Actively identify opportunities to further enhance our partners’ business based on data analysis, market intel and best practice across of the network
  • Provide end to end account management and be the liaison between the partner and corporate (across finance, marketing, IT and operations teams) to provide support for the stores
  • Make sure that the stores are following the guidelines provided and store design to ensure total brand compliance.
  • Support and drive order intake and the claims process as needed
  • Ensure the partner stores provide customer service at par with the best in the business and thus ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction for our clients
  • Train and onboard new store staff (both in store and in Sweden) to ensure partner teams understand the concept of mastery and premium quality.

You will also be required to

  • Continually invest in your own personal development by attending internal training in Sweden.
  • Communicate new products, service opportunities, extraordinary developments, and deal structure and pricing with business value analysis.

 Deliverables

  • Annual Business Action Plans with activities to improve traffic, revenue and conversion rates, and reach sales targets.
  • Tracking of BAP activity outcomes against plans.
  • Achieve yearly sales targets.
  • Bi-yearly visual merchandising reports, with agreed improvement plans.
  • Store visit reports.

 
Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum five year's of demonstrated success in both B2C and B2B sales with solid negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to plan strategically to achieve sales objective.
  • Luxury / high-end retail experience is considered an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems, with a preference for proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. 

  • Proven ability to plan strategically to achieve sales objective.
  • Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and propositions.
  • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 70-80%) throughout the assigned. territory and to Sweden when needed (quarterly).
  • Driver's license 
  • Fluent in English
