As a Director of Sales, your charter will be to lead the growth of a territory consisting of existing customers and prospective customers. We are looking for somebody with at least 8 years of experience in data analytics or cloud consulting and with a consistent track record of growing their portfolio of business.

  • Present Impetus products and services capabilities to customers, prospects, and partners and be their trusted advisor.
  • Stay abreast of technology developments relevant to Impetus and its competitors, the latest advancements in GenAI research, and industry trends.
  • Consulting Experience: The candidate must have experience selling complex consulting projects. Experience as a presales solution consultant who would like to transition into sales or a client partner for global or boutique consulting firms would be a good fit for this role.
  • Domain Expertise: The candidate must have a good understanding of the data warehousing, ETL, analytics, cloud, and AI/ML ecosystem.
  • Industry Experience: The candidate must have a good understanding of data warehousing, ETL, analytics, cloud, and AI/ML needs within the BFSI, Healthcare and Life Sciences, or Retail sectors.
  • Hunt to Farm: You must be a patient and diligent farmer for existing customers while aggressively hunting new accounts to grow your territory. Understand the core of Customer-centric value creation, long-term vs. short-term decisions, and a strong ability to navigate complex environments and drive business success.
  • Proximity & Adaptability: Willingness to be geographically close to key prospects or customer decision-makers, be able to walk customer hallways, and be available when they think of us.

  • Strategic Account Leadership
  • Work with the RVP and Business Development to develop and implement strategic account plans that drive growth within existing customers and win new customers.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters related to assigned customers, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Relationship Management
  • Leverage executive-level relationships to strengthen or build the company’s presence and strategically utilize team resources for impactful client engagement.
  • Solution Development & Delivery
  • Support and facilitate delivery teams to ensure success and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with client teams, pre-sales engineering, and delivery teams to build winning sales proposals and establish strong client relationships.
  • Business Development
  • Create, leverage, and manage ABM plans for organic growth and brand visibility in your assigned territory.
  • Leverage the ecosystem of cloud and cloud data services partners to find new opportunities for growth. Partners are key for developing opportunities, and they need to be convinced of Impetus’s ability to help them drive revenue for their clients. The ability to develop trusted relationships with Partners is a must.
  • Present overall Impetus story comprising of capabilities, offerings, and solutions.
  • Advocacy & Collaboration
  • Represent the customer's needs and interests within Impetus.
  • Foster a positive team culture by building enthusiasm, collaboration, and support within and outside the organization.
