Job Overview:
Our client is a fast-growing real estate investment education and execution community focused on helping investors acquire and scale single-family home investments. As they expand, they need a strategic and results-driven Head of People to build and lead our talent acquisition and HR functions.
The Head of People will be responsible for high-volume recruiting of key team members, including:
- Virtual Assistants (VAs)
- Lead Managers
- High-Ticket Sales Professionals
- Real Estate Acquisition & Disposition Managers
Beyond recruiting, this role will oversee core HR functions such as payroll, compliance, onboarding, and performance management to ensure a high-performing, engaged workforce.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Develop and implement scalable recruiting strategies to hire top-tier VAs, sales professionals, and real estate specialists.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for high-demand roles, ensuring consistent access to qualified candidates.
- Utilize job boards, social media, referral programs, and automation tools to drive efficiency in hiring.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate compensation for all employees and contractors.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and employment policies for both U.S. and international team members.
- Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Manage employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
Employee Experience & Retention
- Lead onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
- Develop performance management frameworks, including KPIs and structured feedback loops.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.
- Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition, preferably in real estate, sales, or remote workforce environments.
- Proven track record of high-volume recruiting across multiple roles.
- Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws and global compliance considerations for remote teams.
- Experience managing payroll systems and HR technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
