Sales Representative Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Representative for small but growing company in the construction and pipeline industry. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with current clients, and promoting the company’s ground protection mats and sandbag products. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, an understanding of the construction or oil and gas industries, and a proven track record in sales.

Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and develop relationships with potential clients in industries such as construction, oil & gas, pipeline, and utilities.
  • Maintain and grow existing client accounts by providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate products, including ground protection mats, crane mats, and sandbags, to meet their project requirements.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to showcase the benefits and applications of the company's products.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Sales Representative Position Requirements

  • Must be experienced proven Sales Person with current contacts in the civil project construction industry and pipeline industry
  • Project Manager and Estimator contacts
  • Be willing to step in and help company where and when needed with the goal providing solutions and excellent customer service
  • Must be a team player
  • Remote but must live in the Houston area
