Role: Telesales New Business Consultant

Location: Home based (Some travel required)

Reports to: Commercial Telesales Manager


The Role 


Rightmove is seeking a driven and results-oriented individual to join our Commercial Team in a role that will shape the future of our business. If you're passionate about generating new business opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you.

As part of our Commercial Team, you will focus on outbound prospecting to engage with Commercial Agents and Landlords, driving high-quality appointments that contribute directly to Rightmove’s growth. You’ll collaborate with a variety of internal teams, including Account Management, to ensure our customers receive the best possible service and outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential prospects, securing appointments with Commercial Agents and Landlords.
  • Take ownership of your prospecting pipeline, sourcing new leads and nurturing existing ones to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly KPIs and performance metrics to contribute to overall business objectives.
  • Establish trust and rapport with prospects through active listening and effective communication.
  • Regularly share valuable insights and learnings with colleagues to enhance customer experience and Rightmove’s product offering.
  • Create positive sentiment and deliver value to customers at every touchpoint.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and update CRM systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Attend face-to-face team meetings and company events when required to foster strong team connections.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of Rightmove’s products and services, delivering training to clients over the phone.


We’re looking for someone who 

 

  • Proven experience in outbound telesales is essential, ideally in a B2B environment, with a track record of driving appointments and generating new business.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and stay highly motivated.
  •  A proven history of consistently achieving and exceeding ambitious targets and KPIs.
  • Exceptional ability to connect with people over the phone, building trust and rapport quickly and effectively.
  • A passion for learning, developing new skills, and responding constructively to feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of sales processes, including the use of effective questioning to engage prospects.
  • The ability to overcome challenges and persevere through tough situations, including getting past difficult gatekeepers.
  • Comfortable with using data to inform decision-making and provide relevant insights to potential customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools.

Flexible/Hybrid working 

Rightmove are People, and whilst this role is predominantly a remote, home working role, we do like to get together face to face Bi-Monthly to share best practice, upskill ourselves and attend ongoing training at either our Milton Keynes, London office or Newcastle office to ensure we’re maximising opportunities to deliver and develop and of course, create a high-performing team through Trust and great team work!
