Jabil is seeking a Global Lean Six Sigma Manager.  As the Global Lean Six Sigma Manager, you will support Global & Regional teams with the development and management of policies, procedures, and system applications to enable global process improvement strategies. 

How will you make an impact?  The Global Lean Six Sigma Manager will be responsible for teaching and mentoring Lean Six Sigma concepts to all levels of the organization.  The qualified candidate will provide direct support to the Global Lean Six Sigma team by (1) being the subject matter expert in lean six sigma principles, values, philosophies and tools, (2) enabling the organization to foster a continuous improvement and employee development mindset, (3)  developing communication programs to effectively teach lean six sigma methods, processes, and strategies, and (4) deploying lean six sigma vision and strategy with the regions.


What will you do?

  • Lead as Subject Matter Expert for global & regional lean six sigma systems, applications, principles, and training

  • Develop best practice systems/applications to optimize existing best practice programs

  • Communicate to all regional teams key Lean Six Sigma strategies, procedures, and metrics

  • Establish methods to teach, mentor, and learn Lean Six Sigma philosophies and tools

  • Ensure alignment and synchronization of Jabil’s Lean Six Sigma mission/vision/purpose to support business plans

  • Revise standardized policies and procedures with Global/Regional Lean Six Sigma Leaders

  • Ensure the standardization of Jabil Lean Six Sigma processes throughout the regions

  • Integrate Lean Six Sigma principles, values, philosophies, and tools for driving improvement projects with the regions and functional support teams

  • Ensure the process supersedes the leader, creating an environment where leadership changes are non-disruptive to the process

  • Provide remote or direct support for regions during Lean Six Sigma leadership transitions

  • Remain up to date on the latest trends in lean manufacturing through benchmarking and participation in various Lean consortiums

  • Willingness to travel 20% domestically and internationally.


How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline required

  • Lean Expert and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certified by recognized organizations in the industry (e.g., ASQ, SME, Shingo Prize, etc.)

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Operations, Quality, Engineering, Operational Excellence, or Project Management, or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.

  • Project and facilitation experience in a heavily matrixed environment

  • Experience in change management, project management, and financial management.

  • Strong skills in financial analysis and knowledge of statistics and statistical control tools

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Track record showing continual improvement of personal skills

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

  • Understand the fundamentals and principles of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering

  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Be proficient in lean tools and processes to coordinate and share knowledge on a regional and global scale.

The pay range for this role is $98,200 - $176,800. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: May 02, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
