Job Overview Summary

As a Product Management Director, you’ll craft the near-term and long-term strategy for your products. You’ll be the subject matter expert for a team of Product Managers and/or Product Owners and will influence the overall direction of the Product Management Team. You’ll partner with internal and external leadership to innovate and deliver products that delight the clinical research community.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clearly understand the market, industry trends, and cross-product workflows 
  • Align the company’s vision with the existing product portfolio 
  • Identify and research net new opportunities to expand the product and service portfolio 
  • Present at conferences and industry events 
  • Provide insights to leadership regarding the goal setting objectives for your team’s products and services
  • Act as a mentor for Product Managers and Service Owners to ensure product roadmaps are focused on high-value initiatives 
  • Act as a mentor for Product Owners to ensure product enhancements meet and exceed end user expectations 
  •  Provide real-time feedback to colleagues to help grow subject matter expertise on your team
  • Partner with Commercial and Strategic Partnership teams to create bundle solutions for our clients
  • Serve as the point of escalation for your team, helping to resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks 
  • Assist leadership to hire, onboard, and mentor new team members 
  • Lead efforts to further improve product team processes 
  • Communicate progress toward product goals to key stakeholders 
  • Build cross-functional partnerships at multiple levels within the company, including with Strategy, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering, Software Testing, Implementation, and Product Support 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma.
  • 7+ years of previous experience in software Product Management 
  •  Effectively communicates, tailors messaging appropriately, including with customer leaders and industry experts 
  • Understands and clarifies complex business scenarios 
  • Makes decisions based on input gathered from a variety of sources 
  • Leverages data and intuition to set product strategy 
  • Easily builds trust and rapport with customers and cross-functional teams 
  • Provides subject matter expertise to help team in understanding new initiatives and navigating changes 
  • Serves as an expert for the Product Management practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Science or related field. 
  • Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare technology.
  • 3+ years of experience supervising Product Managers and/or Product Owners

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

The base salary range for this role is $137,100 - $233,200. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
