Job description

About RevolutionParts

At RevolutionParts, we're on a mission to disrupt the automotive industry by making it effortless for dealerships and brands to sell parts and accessories online.  Our platform powers millions of transactions each year and helps our partners thrive in a digital-first world.

We believe that data is one of our greatest strategic assets. We’re looking for someone who can harness it to drive decision-making, accelerate growth, and elevate how we serve both our customers and internal teams. If you’re passionate about making data useful, love to solve ambiguous problems, and want to influence company strategy in a meaningful way — let’s talk.

Summary
RevolutionParts is seeking a Senior Manager or Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence to lead and grow a team of analysts and level-up how we use data to drive smarter decisions across the business. You’ll be a player/coach — someone who can roll up their sleeves to explore complex data sets, while also building the processes, tools, and team culture needed to scale our impact.

The ideal candidate blends sharp analytical skills with high EQ, excellent communication, and a strong sense of ownership. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Data Engineering — and be trusted to present directly to our executive team and enterprise customers.

*Please note that while this role can be remote, there will be a strong preference given to those candidates who live in the Phoenix, Arizona, metro area.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Partner with executives and department leaders to identify opportunities, measure impact, and drive strategy using data
  • Deliver clear, actionable dashboards and insights that inform marketing campaigns, product performance, sales efficiency, and customer engagement
  • Uplevel our BI practices by improving tooling, documentation, processes, and data literacy across the company
  • Be hands-on with analysis — writing SQL, building models, and helping the team navigate ambiguity
  • Present findings to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership and large enterprise customers

  • Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data strategy, with at least 2 years leading a team
  • Deep experience with SQL and Excel — you move quickly and know how to extract the signal from the noise.
  • Comfortable with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) and working with large, messy datasets
  • Proven track record of using data to influence decisions across marketing, product, and/or go-to-market functions
  • Strong communicator with excellent executive presence — can flex tone for C-suite, peers, and customers
  • Experience in ecommerce or high-velocity transactional businesses
  • Thrives in fast-paced, startup environments; highly resourceful and unbothered by ambiguity

  • Nice to haves:
  • MBA or Masters Degree
  • Experience supporting GTM teams with attribution modeling, CAC/LTV, channel optimization, etc.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to enhance analysis and automate routine reporting
  • Background in financial modeling or working closely with FP&A
  • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B testing) and customer journey analysis
  • Experience with customer data platforms (Segment, mParticle, etc.)
  • Are you not sure you meet 100% of the qualifications? You should still give it a try!  Research shows that men will apply to a job when only meeting 60% of the requirements, whereas members of underrepresented groups typically only apply when they meet every single requirement. At RevolutionParts, we are Revolutionaries.  We build tools, products, and our people. We value diversity in backgrounds and thought, so take a shot and apply! Please highlight some of your accomplishments in your resume and cover letter so we can talk about how you can grow with us.
