Job description

#poweringyouringenuity  🚀

Our mission is to bridge top-level technology companies with engineering talent from across the globe. With presence in LATAM, USA and Europe, we empower companies by providing remote engineering teams of all levels tailored to the needs of each project.

Our teams are passionate about technology and thrive on challenges. We value technical expertise and a willingness to learn new things. Each development is tailored to the needs of each project, so being passionate about learning and using new languages, tools, and frameworks is part of our DNA. Our software engineering teams focus on best coding practices to ensure readability, reusability, and scalability of our systems' designs and developments.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to mentor, guide, and support our Eku members on their professional journeys. You'll play a key role in shaping careers, fostering a collaborative work culture, and ensuring our teams are engaged in meaningful, impactful projects.

This role blends hands-on technical work with people and project leadership. You'll contribute to strategic decisions, take part in management discussions, and have direct influence on both team growth and client success.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading a technical team and supporting them through personal and professional development.

  • Encouraging team members to take ownership of their career goals and helping define their development path.

  • Promoting a healthy, collaborative, and inclusive work environment by living Ekumen’s core values.

  • Identifying training opportunities—not only in technical expertise but also in soft skills.

  • Managing project assignments and ensuring team members are allocated to meaningful, billable client work.

Opportunities to expand your role:

Based on your interests, you can take on additional responsibilities such as:

  • Project Leadership

Take the lead on software development projects as a technical supervisor, guiding your team and having a direct impact on outcomes.

  • Account Management

Represent Ekumen in client relationships, identify opportunities for new solutions, and collaborate across internal teams and external partners.

What we’re looking for:

  • Have a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering—or equivalent experience.

  • Bring 4+ years of experience leading software development projects.

  • Have proven experience mentoring people and leading technical teams.

  • Are comfortable managing customer relationships.

  • Have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Robotics, Mobile, or Web Development.

  • Love technology and enjoy staying close to the code and experimentation.

  • Are fluent in English and feel at ease communicating in a fully English-speaking environment.

Join us to be part of a dynamic community where your skills and contributions truly matter!
