Role Overview

As an SEO Link Building Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the off-page SEO strategy, helping to improve the domain authority of our website by managing and growing our external links. You will leverage keyword research tools and analytics platforms to identify link-building opportunities, create outreach plans, and manage relationships with potential link partners. You will produce and promote high-quality content that attracts backlinks, working with other stakeholders as needed. You will develop and execute an outreach plan, building and growing relationships with link partners. You will monitor and report on link-building initiatives, leveraging performance metrics to drive priorities. As the go-to expert, you will stay informed on the latest techniques and tools, keeping us ahead of the curve.

What you do each day:

  • Develop and execute our SEO link-building strategy to improve our online visibility and domain authority
  • Use SEO and competitor research to identify, compile, and prioritize backlink opportunities
  • Perform a weekly backlink audit to monitor the health and performance of existing links, making improvements as needed.   
  • Identify, coordinate, and produce content that attracts backlinks 
  • Collaborate with the product, product marketing, and social teams to leverage existing initiatives and relationships for link building through PR and affiliates 
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential and existing link partners
  • Build and maintain value-added relationships with link partners through continual outreach and communication 
  • Monitor and report on backlink performance metrics
  • Drive innovation in SEO link building by evaluating and implementing new tools, strategies, and best practices

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing roles
  • Familiarity with SEO concepts and basic tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical SEO concepts
  • Proven track record of link-building knowledge and success
  • Experience in keyword research tools and analytics platforms (i.e., SEMRush, GA4, Search Console)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $56,000-$70,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
