Job description

We are seeking an experienced NoSQL Database Engineer with strong expertise in Cassandra and Redis to manage and optimize our database infrastructures, ensuring high system performance and reliability. Responsibilities Strategize database sizing, hardware requirements, and transaction volume for optimal DB cluster planning Deploy, configure, and manage DSE, bare metal, and AWS database clusters Monitor cluster performance and availability with advanced tools Manage data exports, backups, and restoration to ensure data integrity Conduct stress tests on clusters and optimize queries using indexing Tune JVM settings, caches, and compaction for better performance Requirements Expertise in designing and architecting Cassandra/NoSQL systems, including a deep understanding of complex Cassandra mechanisms like gossip protocol and hinted handoffs Skilled in Cassandra Data Modeling, NoSQL Architecture, using Opscenter, Devcenter, Linux, and Spark for cluster administration Experienced in Redis cluster management, configuration, and data management strategies Proficiency in executing CQL queries, setting up basic CI/CD pipelines, and using AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM) English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Experience with different Cassandra configurations, especially DSE, Scylla, and pure Cassandra Advanced capabilities in Linux and Java setups, integration with Solr and Spark Expertise in automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Team City), Terraform, CloudFormation, and Python programming Experience with Astra or AWS Keyspaces is a plus We offer Connectivity Bonus (15,000 ARS are paid with a salary receipt at the end of each month as a non-wages concept).
