About This Role
As a Product Owner at ZND, you’ll play a key role in defining and delivering products that drive value for our users and business. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, and leadership to prioritize features, improve user experiences, and launch new capabilities.
You’ll be responsible for managing the product roadmap, defining user stories, and ensuring high-quality delivery. If you’re passionate about crypto, user-centric product development, and working in a fast-paced startup, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Backlog & sprint management
Maintain the product backlog, ensuring it's always prioritized and refined
Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with developers and designers to clarify requirements and answer questions
Lead backlog grooming, planning, and review sessions
Accept or reject delivered stories based on Definition of Done
Execution & delivery
Working alongside the Head of Product to translate the product vision and roadmap into deliverable features
Break down features into epics and user stories
Ensure features are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Work closely with QA to validate functionality and ensure defect resolution
Stakeholder collaboration
Act as the main point of contact between the product and dev teams
Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders
Regularly communicate progress, changes, and delivery timelines
Help align product features with user needs and business goals
User & market insight
Contribute to user research efforts, including interviews and feedback loops
Analyze user behavior, metrics, and support tickets to identify pain points
Stay up to date with market trends, competitor features, and crypto/fintech developments
Cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with design on wireframes, prototypes, and final UI/UX
Align with engineering on technical feasibility, estimates, and dependencies
Ensure alignment with compliance, legal, and risk if operating in regulated areas
Requirements
3+ years experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product delivery role
Experience working in a regulated crypto or fintech environment, with a solid understanding of trading platforms, custody solutions, and/or payment systems
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and hands-on experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma
Ability to break down complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements
Excellent communication skills — you're comfortable speaking both “tech” and “product”
A passion for crypto, digital assets, and how users interact with trading platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, including wallets, gas fees, token standards (ERC-20, etc.), and crypto market mechanics (order books, liquidity, slippage)
Hands-on experience with product delivery tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma, and a strong ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Familiarity with KYC/AML compliance and crypto security best practices.
Previous experience in a startup environment or high-growth company.
Experience with building out AI products.

First HM Interview (with Head of Product) - 45 mins - Where we'll deep-dive into your background, skills and expertise.
Culture Check (with Head of Technology) - 45 mins - A meeting to evaluate the candidate’s compatibility with the team’s culture, collaboration style and communication skills
Final Interview (with VP of Product and Head of Product) - 1 h - A comprehensive interview to assess the candidate’s capabilities, long-term vision and potential impact on the company’s success
