Regional Manager of Residential
. As our
Regional Manager of Residential
, you’ll get to oversee the day-to-day operations and direction of our residential sites, including managing a team of two supervisors who oversee around 20 DSPs who staff the sites.
The
Regional Manager of Residential
provides oversight to five residential sites, assuring the effective operation of programs that provide quality services to individuals according to each individual’s choice. This role assures health and safety of individuals through provision of quality services, and by ensuring follow through with established protocols and/or procedures.
This position is a remote hybrid position, which allows for flexibility. We’re committed to a great work-life balance here, so you’ll get to work

at 36 hours/week with a 4-day work week!

Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field required; commensurate experience in the Developmental Disabilities field may be considered/substituted; a master's degree preferred
A minimum, of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities or in a similar field is required
Four (4) years management, including supervisory experience is required
Working knowledge of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) rules and regulations preferred
Work flexible hours, as needed
Ability to do on-site visits
Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule
Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Reliable means of transportation other than mass transit
Meet our driving requirements - have a license for the last three (3) years with no suspensions/revocations and no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years

Additional Responsibilities
Assures agency policies and procedures are followed and state/federal regulatory guidelines are met as appropriate
Ensures all regulations are met in regard to reportable incidents
Independently problem-solves programmatic, individual and/or employee issues; makes sure Senior Director is kept up to date on critical decisions/issues
Directs activities of Residential Supervisors (RS) who manage daily program operations; provides clear objectives and offers support as needed
Ensures facilities are adequately staffed; assists RSs with recruitment, interviewing and hiring employees as appropriate; makes sure new employees receive required and adequate training
Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and train new employees on job duties
Coach employees, through modeling and training, to implement Person Centered Thinking strategies
Ensure employees follow agency policies and procedures
Assists the Senior Director with creating budgets for each facility
Manages budgets and approves expenditures; makes sure team members are aware of budgetary goals and constraints
Appropriately works with state regulatory agencies (HCPF, CDPHE, etc.) in a positive manner; assists in the development of corrective actions and implements them timely and as requested
Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals both within and outside the agency
