Job description

Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI.

What is The Role

We’re seeking a creative, meticulous, and strategic content specialist to help us produce, manage and optimize our content initiatives. This role blends strong editorial judgment with SEO strategies and a sense for engaging video content. The projects span across a multitude of projects related to inspiring and educating the community. The Content Programs team is part of Developer Relations (DevRel), an Elastic team with the mission to educate and help our users succeed with Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack.

Content is everywhere, and it's our job to find it, optimize it and get it out to as many developers as possible! Content Programs have the unique opportunity to work with many different teams at Elastic, across all three solutions and different sections of the organization. The nature of the role is dynamic - we want to hear your fresh ideas and will help you make them happen.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Review, edit and optimize articles based on SEO best practices and keyword research
  • Review performance analytics to come up with new insights and suggestions for optimization
  • Stage and publish articles using our CMS
  • Upload, optimize and review videos on our YouTube channel, as well as reply to comments and suggest new video ideas based on user feedback
  • Collaborate with content creators at Elastic from Engineering, Marketing, Support, Docs, DevRel and beyond to help tell a consistent Elastic story
What You Bring
  • Native-level proficiency in English, both spoken and written, and extensive experience editing content (grammar + flow)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics (primarily GA4 and Search Console)
  • A detailed understanding of SEO and familiarity with tools like Semrush
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about the technology behind our three solutions: Search, Observability and Security
  • Flexibility to wear a variety of hats, a desire to learn new things (including technical concepts!), and the drive to figure things out
  • Bonus points for experience working at a tech startup or any SaaS or tech environment
