We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team supporting federal government clients. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of ServiceNow, and a commitment to delivering high-impact solutions in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with government stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and define functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
Facilitate the prioritization of business needs, translating them into scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with agency goals and compliance standards.
Design and document business processes, workflows, functional specifications, user stories, and test plans.
Lead and support system and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Partner with technical teams to validate functionality and ensure solutions are built to specifications.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of federal agency operations, applying industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Conduct workshops and presentations to communicate requirements, process improvements, and system capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required
Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in a government or federal consulting environment
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including familiarity with common modules and functionality
Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively
Proficiency in developing business process documentation using Microsoft Visio or similar tools
Experience translating business needs into detailed technical requirements
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITSM best practices
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments with diverse stakeholders
