Job description

As an Account Director you will be responsible for driving new business via our biggest customer and strategic partner using a “sell through/with” model. You will be tasked with finding new logos and managing key relationships via our Partner to sell products and services across our entire portfolio. You will then develop those customers, generating multiple opportunities and bringing them to a close before handing the account to the account management team.


The successful candidate will be motivated and driven to work independently and as part of a team. While being responsible for developing new business opportunities in the team, there will be the need to cultivate strong relationships with the account management team to identify white space and leverage their experience. The four pillars of the Strategic Accounts team are Growth, Collaboration, Customer Satisfaction and Operational Excellence.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for business development
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Use market insights to refine sales strategies and tailor solutions to meet evolving customer demands
  • Present solutions to clients through compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations
  • Build strong relationships with: Partner contacts, Internal stakeholders and support, and Vendors
  • Educate and enable the partner sales/technical teams around our offerings
  • Support our partner by helping both them and their customers achieve their desired outcomes
  • Provide advice and expertise to help our customers extract value from their technology investment


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in sales and services/solution selling in the private sector domain (aligned to our partner offering in telco, media, financial services, utilities and retail) as well as experience in a managing key customer relationships to a high level
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in the IT Services industry and customer success roles
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
