Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Caesars, we're not just building digital products—we’re creating a unified, modular ecosystem that spans apps, websites, kiosks, and in-room TVs. Our mission is to elevate every guest interaction through exceptional design and systems thinking.

As a Designer I, you’ll be embedded in a product team, working side-by-side with product managers and engineers, while staying connected to a centralized DesignOps group that supports mentorship, tooling, and quality standards. You’ll help shape an ecosystem where system design and stunning visual execution go hand in hand.

This role is built for designers with a sharp eye, strong design fundamentals, and a passion for building interfaces that are both beautiful and built to scale.

Key Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional design experience, including internships and freelance work.
  • Portfolio demonstrating refined visual design, precision, and deep understanding of design principles.
  • High proficiency in Figma — components, properties, variants, auto-layout, documentation.
  • Strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first design, with working knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus.
  • Proven ability to communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Content teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing ability for microcopy and UX flows — content design is part of the job.
  • A growth mindset — receptive to feedback and excited about evolving your skills.

Description

In this role, you will:

  • Craft thoughtful, functional UI grounded in solid visual principles — typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, layout.
  • Design within and beyond the system — leveraging tokens, variants, and reusable patterns to ensure scalability.
  • Build Figma files that are clean, documented, and component-driven for handoff and iteration.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to ship high-quality features.
  • Extend the guest experience across multiple surfaces — web, app, TV, kiosk — while accounting for the nuance of each.
  • Contribute to scalable UX writing and content design patterns across flows and components.
  • Embrace modern tooling and workflows — including design-to-code and automation capabilities.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
  • Interest in motion design using tools like Lottie, Rive, or animation specs.
  • Familiarity with personalization and adaptive UX strategies.

Why Join Caesars UX Design?

  • Work on a multi-surface design ecosystem: apps, websites, kiosks, and in-room TVs.
  • Be part of a team powered by DesignOps — supported by centralized systems and tooling.
  • Thrive in a culture where design craft and system scalability are core values.
  • Help lead the future of design-to-code workflows and modular component strategies.
  • Build experiences that go beyond commerce — into hospitality, entertainment, and loyalty ecosystems.

Final Note

At Caesars, visual design isn’t an afterthought — it’s a foundation.

We’re building digital experiences that need to feel as polished as they are functional. This means creating work that is aesthetically excellent, technically thoughtful, and built to scale. If you care deeply about design craft, believe in the power of systems, and want to help shape how millions of people experience hospitality — we’d love to meet you.
