Position Summary:

The HR Service Delivery Generalist plays a key role in supporting the employee experience across all stages of the colleague lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing and resolving a variety of colleague inquiries, serving as the primary escalation point for general HR-related questions. The Generalist will provide high-quality support with a strong focus on written communication, while also understanding when a more direct, phone-based approach is appropriate.

This position supports day-to-day HR operations with a focus on onboarding, leaves of absence, and employee lifecycle transactions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and use sound judgment when escalating or resolving issues. Familiarity with HRIS systems (particularly UKG), digital ticketing tools, and Excel is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general HR inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Process and support onboarding activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of new hire tasks.
  • Manage and coordinate leave of absence workflows, partnering with key stakeholders for compliance and support.
  • Support lifecycle transactions (e.g., status changes, terminations, promotions) in the HRIS system.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in a digital ticketing system, adhering to established service-level expectations.
  • Provide consistent, professional, and clear written communication to colleagues, with strong attention to tone and clarity.
  • Identify when live phone support or escalations are necessary to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, recruiting, payroll, and other teams to ensure smooth operational handoffs.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist with audits or reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an Human Resources support or service-delivery function.
  • Previous exposure to leave-of-absence case tracking and new hire onboarding workflows.
  • Prior experience working remotely in a digital, service-oriented environment.
  • Strong written communication skills with a professional tone.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Beginner to intermediate Excel and data-entry skills (e.g., filters, xlookups, pivot tables preferred).
  • Familiarity with HR systems and tools, preferably UKG and digital ticketing systems.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting HR processes in a healthcare or multi-location organization.
  • Benefit support experience.
