Title: Summer Intern – Analytics & Business Operations

About the Role:
We’re seeking a motivated and curious Summer Analytics & Business Operations Intern to join our small but mighty Analytics team. You’ll dive into real-world problems across revenue analysis, operational optimization, patient experience, and partner growth. This is a highly-leveraged role with cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Operations, Patient Experience, Business Development, and Human Resources, with regular interactions with the Executive Team (including our CEO).
This is a hands-on, high-impact internship where you’ll get to work on business-critical projects and help improve how we deliver care across the country.
At Getlabs you will:Enhance Operational Optimization:Analyze appointment and sample drop-off routing to identify opportunities to improve phlebotomist efficiency across marketsSupport regional resource planning by preparing materials for weekly supply/demand meetingsBuild BI dashboards to improve efficiency and P&L reporting.Generate Partnership and Business Development Insights:Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for enterprise partners and present findingsPerform ad-hoc investigations related to partner questions or complaintsCollaborate with BD team on strategic recommendations for new partner signings (e.g., pricing recommendations, operational feasibility, etc.)Improve Clinical Quality & Patient Experience:Analyze cancellations, reschedules, clinical quality, etc. across markets and partners to surface operational insights and drive recommendationsPerform deep-dives and root causes analysis to identify opportunities for service level improvementsDrive Growth & Expansion InitiativesAssist in evaluating greenfield geographic expansion opportunities, which will include refining existing demand forecasting modelsPrepare geographic coverage analyses for existing and prospective enterprise partners.Investor Relations:Refine/automate certain quarterly board reporting processesRespond to investor data room requests on an ad-hod basisWhat We’re Looking ForCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related fieldInterest in healthcare access and digital healthExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical thinking and comfort working with dataProficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with BI tools like Mode, Looker, or TableauPython/R experience preferredComfortable presenting to and working collaboratively with leadership.A scrappy, startup-ready attitude and collaborative spiritWe have great benefits to make your life easier so you can focus on what you're best at:Competitive compensation at $25-$30/hrValuable stock option planOpportunity to extend internship on a part-time basisA company with a huge vision, a dynamic work environment, and a team of talented, ambitious and fun to work-with colleagues!The health and safety of our employees and their families is our top priority.
