Legal Support Specialist – Consumer Communication & Case Management (Remote)

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and adaptable legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong critical thinking and communication skills, particularly when managing consumer-facing interactions via phone, email, and written correspondence. This role requires empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to maintain professionalism while navigating complex situations with ease.

This is a fully remote role.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates residing in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin

Legal Support Specialist Responsibilities

  • Respond to complex consumer inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Follow established protocols and instructions from leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and leadership to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
  • Create, monitor, and update procedural scripts to improve efficiency and maintain project goals.
  • Ensure quality assurance by identifying and reporting errors, then suggesting solutions.

Legal Support Specialist Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school or foreign law degree and LLM (Bar license not required).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook/Teams).
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to analyze situations and provide solutions.
  • Experience managing consumer-facing interactions, with the ability to stay calm and resolve conflicts.

Compensation: $30/hr. (DOE)
